Why Give?

​Greetings in the Name of our Great God!

 

It has been an amazing year of dynamic outreach. As we have joyfully served together as a family, the Lord has used Evangel to reach tens of thousands with “Good News and Good Deeds”.  Thousands of families were blessed by the regional resource fairs, our counselors logged hundreds of hours counseling families from the community, many children gave their hearts to Lord at our Vacation Bible School and hundreds of families will be blessed this Thanksgiving as we are preparing for “Boxes of Love” that will allow us to provide a meal for 300 families.  These are just a few ways the Lord has used our church to be a blessing to hurting families in our community.   



Our efforts in serving our community must continue during this critical time in the region, as many families face challenges and struggle to look for places to find hope and healing in a broken world.  Now more than ever the church needs to be a light to the world. As the Word states in Malachi 3:10, “Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of host, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down a blessing until there is no more need”.  As we are faithful to bring the tithe into God’s house, we know He will be faithful to keep His promise and open the windows of heaven.



Please prayerfully consider what the Lord would have you to give towards necessary resources so that Evangel can continue to share “Good News and Good Deeds” with a lost and hurting world.
